I know I promised to update the state of the Clothbound Cheddar every week, well it has been a few weeks and I realized that I hadn’t posted in a few weeks.
There have been an explosion of flora on the bandages.
So without further ado please enjoy the explosion of life that is my first Clothbound Cheddar.
There is more life than beforeI thought that the flora would have spread more evenly, but after all it is alive and is doing what it wantsI know I call it flora, but you will call it mould. If I call it flora I can resist the urge to scrub the bandages and kill it.I am starting to appreciate the beauty in the bandages. This side seems to be where the cool flora hangs out. Here is an example of it not moving/growing the way I would have expected it. What is so wrong with that patch?I mentioned on Facebook that it reminds me of a Rorschach Test – What do you see?I had hoped that it would be fully covered by now, but I have to remind myself that this is a marathon, not a sprint.
I have posted the pictures I took in week 3 on the Facebook page, and there will be more there later in the week. Until next time go and make some cheese!
Looking really nice! Mine is quite uneven, too. I guess it will wander as it wishes…
That is good to know, I guess I am just a little impatient some times. Thanks.
